Hi,

Is there anyway, when displaying contours, I can click a position on the contour and get the exact value at that point??

I am trying to measure the velocity profile of particles in a tube. Since I couldn't find any better method, I am trying to find the velocities of individual particles.

So please let me know, if I can jut click he location in a contour plot and get the value (like in fluent).

Thank You

You can hit the period key, ".", while hovering the mouse over the location and you get the exact value printed in the output window.

Thanks Kris. But this feature is difficult to use for a particulate flow.

I need to ficus the mouse exactly on the centroid. So I need to place the mouse on the centre of the particle (approximately), zoom out so much such that the pixel on which the mouse was kept merges with the actual centroid. Then I'm able to get the value.

Thank a lot for the help. I really appreciate it.
