Folks,
Trying to get some data to a structural analyst. I could ask for his surface mesh and use the mappers, but they already have a highly developed tool kit where the read in surface data from Fluent, or CFD++ and fiddle with morphing etc and create the input deck for ANSYS or Abaqus as required. I would prefer not to ask for them to do something different. There mapping tool does work with Tecplot data, but it seems that it does not recognize the polyhedrons Has anyone come across any utilities to generate triangular surface output from the polyhedral data? Thanks Andy |

you already have a triagulated surface in your model assuming you used the surface remesher
could you export say as a .nas file this then import via cae and map onto that |
