Hi Everyone,

I'm simulating a helicopter rotor. As the blades rotate around a shaft axis they also morph (change in pitch).
Can anyone tell me how to measure the pressure on the surface of a blade at 87% along the blade while it rotates.

you can take mass flow averaged pressure report and assign the blade boundaries before you give the run and also create a monitor plot for the same.

I think his question was more pretaining to the 87% blade distance issue. If that's the case you can make a circular section cut from a derived part and only select the blade surface as the input. That should make just a 'ring' going around the blade at a specific radius.

Thanks. That seems perfect. How can I export the pressure measurements?

In that case just monitor the report and plot it, and you should be able to export the plot as a table.
