Does anyone know how to export the solution from fluent to StarCCM+? I have transferred the mesh, but is it possible to transfer the data as well?
Thanks, |

You need to export the data using a neutral format (Plot 3D or something). There is no direct path.

It seems to me that Star CCM+ only imports the (*.sim) files. Is there any menu in the software to import other types of file (3D plot, ...)? Thanks.

i know nothing about fluent but if you can get the field data out in a csv file eg x, y, z, pressure, etc then it is easy to import this into ccm+ as a table then initialise the case via table and you can then post process so continue to solve etc
