Hello,
i'm working with starrccm+ and i have this following question: i have values on my surface mesh (field function) and i want to translate these to my volume mesh. So far so good. Each volume cell should get the value, which the nearest surface cell has. I hope you all understand my short description How do i get this fieldfuncion on my volume mesh? Thank you Tim |

This might be able to be done if the geometry is simple enough, but the procedure is complex.
But I feel that, from your description, I'm missing something. "Each volume cell should get the value which the nearest surface cell has". I don't feel this is a good enough description to get a unique and smooth distribution of your function through the domain. |
