Hi,
I have two bodies. An arm that is fixed at one end connected to a block. I want to make the block move down by 50mm and then back up again to its original starting point. I have an overset mesh around the block and another mesh around the arm. How do I specify this motion for the block in STAR-CCM+? Also is there a way of setting the arm to move automatically with the block? Or do I have to specify another motion for the arm? I have a feeling this should be fairly simple but I just don't know how to do it. I have already checked the STAR User guide regarding moving bodies but found I am still confused. Many Thanks for everyones help Kishen |

it would help if you showed a sketch of your arrangement and where mation is required since this will affect the setup - it should be possible

Hi
Overset mesh is super easy to implement in STAR-CCM+. What do you want to know exactly? Guillaume with trampoCFD.com |
