Hello,

I have problems matching the Trimmed Cell Mesher and Prism Layers. The thickness of the Prism Layer is not constant and interrupted over the geometry.
Although I tried several settings concerning Prism Layer Thickness enhancement, Base Size reduction and Minimum Surface Size enhancement I couldn't fix the problem.

Does anyone has an idea how to solve this problem? or
Does anyone know which standard values work fine for Trimmed Cell Mesher and Prism Layers?

Best regards,

Jack

In your prism layer meshing model try decreasing the layer reduction percentage, increase boundary march angle, and specify near core layer aspect ratio.

Thank you Kasey for your answer,

I already tried your ideas, but it didn't succeed. The solution is to choose an extremely low base size and adapt the other sizes (e.g. surface sizes etc.)

Best regards,

Jack
