I have run a URANS simulation for a physical time of 16 seconds and i have around 75 .trn files saved with me. how do i take results every 2 seconds? and how can i import all the .trn files at a time on to starccm+?
and also i need to make an animation of Q-Crriterion.
Am using the 8.02 version
Thanks in advance

Have you tried generating table?

While, as siara817 mentions, there are ways to use tables for transient data analysis in STAR-CCM+, I find this to be somewhat challenging.

I prefer to output the data to .csv files and process it using another program (e.g., Matlab). This can be done by either:
  1. using a macro to append a single .csv file with a new line of data for every time-step
  2. using the 'Update' function of a Plot to save a .csv file for each time-step
The first of these is a bit more elegant, but may take more time to set up depending on your familiarity with Java and writing macros.

Good luck!
