hi all
i have created xy plot and when i run my simulation my velocity profile variation changes and i need to save the data of the plot for particular different iteration. How to save these data . Cos i am able to tabulate the data of last time step only. I need to save the data for every 50 time step... Like saving image file can we able to tabulate the data of the plot for the line probe for different time step??? |

It could be an eqsier way, but inthink you can do it with a macro. I know you can save an image of the plot but not sure about the data.

One other way is to autosave it to different file every 50 time step and then run through each one of them to extract the data in the plot! (with macro I suppose)
But I suppose there should be a better way to do it |

Try looking under Tools->Tables->XYZ Internal Table. You should be able to set an update trigger to export a table based on a line probe (at least in v8.02 you can, I'm not sure about earlier versions).
