Hi,
I am trying to model combustion inside a region that is filled with reactants. The idea is that this region is filled with reactants before combustion occurs, as opposed to having a continous flow from the inlets to the outlets. To be specific, I hope to model the flame front as it moves through the region. The only way I can see of acchieving this is to use a volume of fluid physics model, where air inside the region is displaced by the reactants before combustion, however, the volume of fluid physics model seems to be incompatible with the combustion physics models. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to do this? Can this be done in the current version of STAR-CCM? Thanks, Barry |
