Hi to everyone,
I'm new in Star-ccm+ and I'm writing because I've some problems with my geometry and mesh. I drew a geometry composed by a burner and the environment around it in Star CAD. When I created the parts, the geometry of the holes isn't correct (see figure "holesPARTS"). But when I created the region, the geometry was correct (see figure "holesREGION"). After that, I generated the mesh and it was with a bad quality both on the wall where the holes lie (see figure "extWall") and the holes (they have the same wrong geometry of the parts) (see figure "holesMESH"). Can everyone help me? Thank you in advance, Virgy |

The problem is fixed by creating parts with a very fine refinement!
