anyone knows if itīs possible to create a condition to rotate or translate a scene, (like a scalar scene) automatically?
I wish to have several scenes saved automatically, but changing the movement with rotation and translation.
is it possible?
thanks
Lucio

In previous versions, you had to write a macro to do this, but as of about 1 year ago this has become much easier:

If you can define a coordinate system that moves in the manner that you want the camera to move, then you can set the camera's view to be based in that coordinate system.

If this doesn't work for you, writing a macro to move the camera at every time step isn't too bad either.

Hope that helps,

Ryan

Thanks for the prompt reply, Ryan,

The version we have is 6.04. Is it available in that version? I need to go to the school to check.
Weīre installing version 7.

Regards, Lucio.

Thanks Ryan,

I look for your reference in the user guide 6.04. it seems itīs a block mapped coordinate that you mentioned. is it?
Iīll try it.

Thanks again.
Lucio
