I attache a picture which is a simple pipe, but I have the same problem with pipe and elbows, I set Mesh Genreralized Cylinder but manager Cylinder no Found cylinder, "Generalize cylinder mesh not possible on boundary TUBO - Default because has non-smooth surface"....some idea about my error?

I am not 100% sure, but I do not think the generalized cylinder mesher can be used with a hollow tube like that. All of their examples show a full cylinder. edit: I tried it out, I was not able to get a generalized cylinder mesh around geometry like yours. I think youll have to use a typical volume mesh, or use the extrusion mesher if its a straight pipe section. Last edited by rwryne; May 17, 2012 at 14:38. |

the pipe and the elbow and inside a fluid, I do not use boundary interfaces, but it is necessary to have two superfaces pipe and elbow, with this way I have cylonders. before I have the superface pipe+elbow then I should have two superfaces.
