You must have a working email address to register as a user on the Forums and on CFD-Wiki. Email systems like Hotmail/Outlook/Live and Gmail have had problems to receive emails from cfd-online.com. Details on how to solve this are given below. If you are using one of these email systems you must do what is described below before you can register!

Hotmail/Outlook/Live are especially problematic and sometime discards emails from the forum without any error message being sent either to the sender or the receiver. To avoid this from happening you should do the following:

1. Add CFD Online to your contact list to receive email from the forums. You do this by clicking on Outlook > People > New > New Contact. Then in the form add "First name: CFD" "Last name: Online" "Email: webmaster@cfd-online.com" and click on "Save" to save your new contact. Thereafter emails from the forums originating from webmaster@cfd-online.com should hopefully reach your inbox.

2. Add webmaster@cfd-online.com to Tools > Options > Preventing Junk Email > Safe senders

We believe that it should work then, with the minor issue that you might have to search in your junk / spam folder to find our emails in the beginning. If you mark our emails as not-junk / not-spam you should thereafter hopefully receive our emails correctly.

Gmail usually accepts our forum emails, but sometimes sorts our emails away into the junk / spam folder. If you mark our emails as not-junk / not-spam you should thereafter hopefully receive our emails correctly. You might have to do this twice to convince gmail.

When you register on the forums or when you register on CFD-Wiki you should within a short time receive an email which includes a link that you must visit in order to confirm your email address. If you do not receive this email please contact us.
