crevoise is on a distinguished road
Hello everybody.

I have installed recently starcd on a new computer, and I am facing with a problem when trying to ran a computation on several CPU.

I am able to run Starcd on 1CPU, without problem.
I can also run several single-CPU computation at the same time.

However, when trying to run the computation on 2 or more CPU, I am getting the following error message:
mpirun: gethostbyname(crevoise) failed
mpirun: Cannot find IP for mpirun matching crevoise

It seems HPMPI is trying to access different IP address for each CPU?

Does somebody already faced with that problem and have some hint to solve it?

Thanks

(this is explained in the manual, but sometime one might just miss the info - p95 in the manual version 8.04)
If you are facing the same issue, then you should just add the following command:
-rsh ssh
into the window appearing when opening a new computation.
On that window, if you select "parallel on local host", 'compute processes 2" for example, the command line at the bottom is something like
path*** -server -np 2
just add -rsh ssh after -server, and it should work
(assuming you had the same problem as mine)

Hope this help
