Hi everyone ..

I am writing here after attempting desperately several times to resolve the reverse flow problem which appears after few iterations.... I set the initial conditions and the boundary conditions (velocity inlet, pressure outlet, symmetry and wall )..6DoF hull body ..VoF wave..multiphase mixture ..etc....everything seems correct but when I use a hull with a bulbous bow the simulation collapses cuz of a reverse flow !...dont understand why ? is it the meshing method !

for meshing i chose the models : Surface Remesher ..Trimmer .. Prism layer mesher..and applied volumetric control with Z axis anisotropic ..repeated the simulations with diff mesh qualities and still hit the same problem ....

any advice will be highly appreciated ..

the boundary where reverse flow occurs should be provided with 1 for either fluid. suppose if you provide fraction 1 for water and 0 for air it will only allow water to come in through reverse flow.
