Hello,
Is it possible save a .mdl file in ASCII format with StarCCM+? (I know it is possible with ProStar). Another question: does exist a free software to make this conversion? Thanks for any reply Andrea

It is not possible to save everything out of STAR-CCM+ in an ascii file nor is there any program to do it. You can save the mesh only in a .ccm file which is an open (binary) format. CD-adapco has sample code to read the .ccm file but they take some work to read.
