Hi,

Am a new user to kiva, as a matter of fact to open source coding as well.
Can someone guide me where i can find materials to get started with KIVA 4? I ve purchased and gone through all the manuals from kiva, i still have no clue as of how to use it.

Hi, I am also new for Kiva, can you tell me how much would it cost to buy it? where did you buy it from? from Los Alamos National lab? do they have any technical support?

i am not remember now it was about 4000 USD. it is purchased llnl. i dont know about technical support.

and unfortunately i am new user too and i havent any experience on CFD.

I am working on KIVA4.
i have this error:

itape17 error for valve surface 2
the vertex flags (fv) at the valve seat directly above the edges of the valve do not identify a solid surface. this will result in subroutine snapvtop not finding the seat and it will move the valve up through the seat.

I dont undrestand what is my mistake in KIVA4 or ICEM CFD.
Is there anybody to help me?

I too would like to see some examples of kiva 3V or kiva 4. Like mel021184 I'm modeling a spray but in a crossflow. I'm not necessarily looking for a spray example, just something so I can validate my own code since the use of kiva on gnu fortran is entirely new to me.
