Hi, I have finished running a simulation , now i want to re-run the same simulation with some changes . Please give me some hint how to do that in STAR-CCM+

from mail menu select Solution >> Clear Solution then do your changes.. then Solution >> Run (Ctrl+R)

I'd recommend NOT clearing your solution. Just make the changes and hit run. That way, your initial solution will be your old solution, and the simulation will converge faster.

You can also "reset for restart". By this way the code keeps the last iteration of the previous computation and use it as "initial field" for the new simulation...but the iteration counter is reset and externally it looks like a completly new sim, but it conrverges faster than the original one.
