Hi, I need to get a software for our company. Which one will be a better choice for modeling detailed combustion including turbulent flow in swirl burners? Thank you, John

Hi

star-cd is years ahead of fluent wrt mesh generation to successfully solve conjugate heat transfer problems.

It has superior combustion models. In my experience fluent is an over damped code.

Codes like these cost serious $$. Get them to prove their skills by setting them a benchmark task. Their turnaround time will be as interesting as their results.
