Hi, I need to get a software for our company. Which one will be a better choice for modeling detailed combustion including turbulent flow in swirl burners? Thank you, John

Hi
star-cd is years ahead of fluent wrt mesh generation to successfully solve conjugate heat transfer problems. It has superior combustion models. In my experience fluent is an over damped code. allan |

Codes like these cost serious $$. Get them to prove their skills by setting them a benchmark task. Their turnaround time will be as interesting as their results.
