As I know, there are only three types of breakup model in STAR-CD.(No user subroutine). So, is there any way to apply another breakup model, like WB model thru the user subroutine or any possible way?

There is a user routine (DROBRK) but it doesn't allow the break-up to generate new parcels, only modify the droplet count.

Thanks for your answer. Richard...
So, you mean I can use only 3 models for breakup and cannot use the other breakup model except those three in Star-CD, right? |

No, there is user coding (DROBRK) but it only allows you to specify d(diameter)/dt, it doesn't allow you to create new parcels, at least not officially or very easily. There are lots of break-up models which you could implement using this method, not just the three internal ones. But you couldn't implement all break-up in this way.

Well in Star-Cd you can use Reitz-Diwakar model, Hsiang-Faeth model and Pilch-Ederman model but you can also try the MPI-1 and MPI-2 models, wich seems to work well on Diesel Sprays...
