Hello!
I faced a critical problem when I used STARDESING. After making geometry and surface meshes, I got the following error message making volume meshes: 1)Error: Tried to execute: /opt/starcd/v3.26/PROSTAR/3.26.003/linux_2.4-x86-glibc_2.3.2/bin/ammbatch 2) System error message: Operation not permitted Error: Subsurface generation failed: please look at the procadmesh.log file in the directory: tmp_stardesign I have no idea of this. Woruld you give me a direction to solve this error? Have a nice day! |

Do as the message says and read the log file(s) - it will usually give you additional information like a self-intersection error.
Try loading the surface file into proam (open the .dbs file) and do a surface check. Then go back to your CAD in STAR-Design and make some changes locally where the problem was located - change the geom, locally refine the mesh size etc. |

In my case, surface meshes are well generated. The problem is the volume meshes. Are there any "ammbatch" problem and STARDESIGN version problem?
