Hi all! Does anyone have any direct comparison between c.h.t. simulations (mine is a cooling jacket) with STARCD and with STARCCM+? I'm running the very same problem and got very different responses, both locally and globally, which means: - water temperature increase is double in STARCCM+ than that in STARCD; - Tmax in solid is double in STARCCM+ than in STARCD.
Of course, same fluid/solid properties... Furthermore: any "best setup" in CCM+ for such a problem? I mean: segregated flow or coupled flow? And segregated or coupled energy for both the fluid and the solid? Thanks in advance, Stefano |
