CDIRection goes with the command CDIVide.
You establish the cell I, J and K directions with CDIR Then you use CDIV to split the cells in any given direction It sounds like you were using CREF on a multi block mesh with different local directions previously. This splits cells based on the existing I,J and K direction of each cell. If for some reason you wanted to use CREF then you could do CDIVide RESTructure CREFine but that merely adds an extra step PLFACE ON with a PLTY EHID shows you the cell face orientations of the mesh I believe CREOrder is/was mainly used for reducing the wave front of linear FEA solvers by renumbering the cells such the neighbours had similar cell numbers. I am not sure that it has that many uses other than that |

hi. why you don't use the way like "prostar window-->tools--> cell tool--> cell refine" ?

In 326
try the "cmro" command with the option 1d or vector then use cmre cset This should handle all cell type |
