I have some models that I have created by star-cd 3.24 for windows. Now when I want to open them in 4.02,

I get some problems when I check the model.

How can I open old models (Created in star-cd 3.24) by star-cd 4.02?

If you don't tell us exactly what happens when you try to open these models in v4 we can not tell you what you should do.

Just send you models to the support.

I have a mdl file that has been generated by release 3.24 windows platform. I imported it in proam release 4.02 windows. At this stage there is not any problem and proam show me the model. In next stage I checked the model in "Prepare Surfaces/Surface Tools/Surface Checks" section. I get all errors such as Sharp Pair of Angles, Small Intenal Angle, Shell Intersection errors and so on. In other words mdl file is not compatible with release 4.02.

What is the solution?

How did you read your old models in release 4.02?

I got above errors when I imported .cel and .vrt files as well.

Is it just a surface model or do you have fluid cells?

If there are fluid cells, why do you use the check in proam? Simply type "geom" and see if this workes without errors.
