velocity normal to the surface

hi
Can anybody plz tell me how to set the velocity normal to the surface ? Thanks in Advance |

Dear Srinivas,
As I imagine, the velocity normal to the surface for example in x direction is velocity V. When you give values for boundary conditions go to the wall and give the appropriate value for V. If you have a profile of velocities (e.g. V is changing with heigth y) then you can define a table of values V which are dependent of height Y and go to the boundary of walls and change the standard to table (there is a tutorial how to define tables I thing is the fifth tutorial).I hope I helped you.
