fortran compiler you will need absoft (google it if you don't understand) and i recommend upgrading to 3.26, 3.22 is very very old

you need to buy it.....3.26 stop the compilation error if ever you use subroutines (as in this tutorial) you will need a fortran compiler. What field are you studdying?

Hi,
(a) absoft - you need absoft for windows too. If you have a fortran routine (in your ufile directory) you need to give it to star in a way he understadns. that is the job of compiler. I'd recommend you to talk to (a) your system admin;(b) the guy who bought STAR-CD at the university, you're unlikely the first user of the software. (b) after you install absoft, you need to do some settings in a system. It's not hard - find the install manual of the star-cd, it's described there in detail. (c) good luck! matej |

For windows you can only use absoft, linux you can use intel, pgi or absoft but you have to pay for all of them.
