Default very strange behavior of residuals

Every time the intermediate restart data is written, the residual for the mass eq. increases. Sometimes it increases so much that the solution diverges. Do you have any idea how to remove this behaviour.

I'm using Star-CD ver 4.02.003 Turbulence : LES - transient Other: SIMPLE, three time step implicit for time, AMG, MARS.
