The same way you check grid indepedence in any other code/mesher, something you should learn on the first day of any university CFD course.

You build the model and look at the solution. Then you build the model again using more cells for a finer mesh and look at the solution. Using more cells is quite easy when you are using an automated mesh builder. If it hasn't changed, you reached the stage where it is grid independent.
