Save User Data

Hi,
I have a problem when saving user data with StarCD 3.26. I defined a cell set containing 10800 cells (that's what it is found using the Cell List or Cell Check commands in the Cell Tool utility). If I try to save to file data for this cell set (using Post > Save User Data), the resulting file contains only 10752 cells! Where are the other 48 gone? Where could the problem be? Thank you very much in advance, Ale |

check to see if any cells in that cset are not fluid (ie baffles, shells, or solid cells). It won't write data for those.

Thank you for your reply.
However, I defined the cell set using the command 'cset' (cset news type table#), and I loaded only one fluid cell table. Also the command 'count cells' confirms that there are 10800 fluid cells in the set, but in the file I get only 10752 cells... I still don't understand this. Thanks a lot anyway. Regards, Ale |

Thank you, Nahum.
I tried this with no success. I tried to close all files (but then I must reopen the pst file) and to close the usr file, but the issue still happens (even if the generation of the user data file is the first thing I do after opening the mdl file and loading the pst file). I will keep on looking for the origin of this problem. Thank you anyway for your support, Ale |

Hi, I have found that the number of cells saved in the file is always a multiple of 256: it is the largest multiple of 256 lower than the number of cells in the set.
Any clue? Thanks, Ale |
