I have installed my Star-cd in windows XP already. But I dont know whether es-ice can run in windows or not. So could somebody help me with this problem? Thank you !

No es-ice does not run in windows.

you need to call your account manager for any question on system specification and requirement before installing the software. If they don't send you a complete information you can go to www.cd-adapco.com and put a request in the box on the front page to the attention to sales and marketing manager.

Es-ice will run only in linux/unix based OS. cd-adapco planning to incorporate es-ice in windows OS in near future.

es-ice got no issues with redhat/fedora/suse linux versions

Hi, It is good to find lot of guys working on Es-ice. I would like to what is the general trend in industry ? Do they use mapped mesh or trimmed mesh .. do anyone have some guide lines for creating trimmed mesh ...

I am using mapped mesh most of the time. Does all the models of StarCD is working well with trimmed mesh??
