It seems there are not es-tools in release 4 (especially as-aero). Is it right?
If No, how should I run es-aero in release 4? I mean, what is the command for running es-tools? Thanks, |

I guess your account manager did not explain you what to do.
There is no benefit yet to upgrade from v3.2 to v4 for most es-tool. Especially es-aero and even with polymeshes. Most of the surfaces imported in es-aero can be imported in star-ccm+. By saving with the command 'ngeom' instead of 'geom', you can read import .ngeom es-aero mesh into star-ccm+ So here is the best plan: - remain with v3.26 for the moment - start getting trained in star-ccm+ (integrated meshing, surface wrapper, coupled solver,post-processing, macros...) - es-aero is planned to be transfered to star-ccm+ - transfer directly from v3.26 to star-ccm+ when confident Donald |
