Any new ideas how to fix segmentation fault problem for Windows XP?

I am using STAR-CD 3.26 and trying to do Tutorial 11.1 for moving mesh. When I try to specify sliding interface for mesh it always gives segmentation fault problem. I work on Windows XP, Service Pack 2.

Does anyone know how to solve this problem?

Regards Usker

Usually a segmentation fault is a memory problem of some sort. Check to assure that you have enough RAM for the problem and maybe check out prosize to assure it is set properly. Tom

Thank you Tom for your reply. I use Pentium 4CPU 3GHz, RAM 3GB, Windows XP service pack 2 and I also tried service pack 3. It gives the same problem. Do you think it is enough memory? How do you think if I use Windows 2000 would it help?

Thank you again for replying Usker

If you are sure that your hardware memory can support your model, then try to get the latest patch from STAR-CD support.
