Hello to everybody,
I would like to ensure something I have learned about the restart analysis. Is it a common practice to start my simulation with the simplest choices, and after to use the results of the first run to a second run by changing some parameters? (for example start with UD discretisation scheme in the first run and use the results of this run to a second run by changing to LUD scheme). Is this achieved with the analysis Re(start)? Thank you in advance George |

Analysis restart proceeds with the result obtained in the first run. That is why a new folder "Result.." is generated with the old result files (the .pst file) and a new pst file is dumped in the case directory.
It will only work if the changes you have made can allow it. There will be an error if not. First thing star does is to backup the pst in the new folder so don't be affraid of losing it Good Luck Kasper Skriver Denmark (Bronze winners in WC-Handball) |
