The keyboard is disable in prostar mode. Can anybody give me some suggestions? I have installed starcd3.26 on my computer before, and it can be properly run.But this time I reinstalled starcd3.26 I found that I was getting warning messages of the type "Warning: translation table syntax error: Unknown keysym name: osfActivate". Note, the warning message may also specify the following as unknown keysyms: osfCancel, osfSelect, osfHelp, osfBeginLine, osfUp, and osfDown, then the keyboard can't be used in prostar. Whole installation process is the same as before,i used sco xvison for x-display.And,i tried hummingbird exceed but can't solve that problem. One important thing is that everything is ok when i installed starcd in another computer which have not installed any starcd on before. What can i do now? any suggestion for me?It make me ill.

I have seen this problem before. You need to pick up your keyboard and move and shake it left/right and up/down. It should reactivate the keysym device. It is because of static electricity.
Otherwise you will have to call an IT repair guy to open it. IT administrator |
