Tracking particle hits

Is it possible to count the number of particle hits (using a Lagrangian scheme) on the walls, using STAR CD? If not will UDFs help? Can someone point to some references to work related to such tracking?

It is possible but only with UDF. You need to use DROWBC subroutine. You can CD-Adapco about sample subroutines for erosion modeling, it was done there
