Hi! I am looking for the documentation on how to edit the *.prob file. Please help! Thank you in advance.

There is no documentation. The "editor" is prostar. If you are interested in a very specific number, then set it in prostar, write the prob file, change it in prostar, write a a new prob file and compare the 2 files. There are alot of dependencies in the prob file so you can easily screw yourself if you get carried away.

Thank you TG! Yes. The only way to understand the *.prob file is from comparison. I wish there is a documentation on this topic.

The most useful to know is the first number in the problem file. If it is 1 then it is a regular run; if it is 2, then it is a restart run. If you have run for the specified number of iterations and still not converged, use vi or another editor, change the 1 to 2, save, and restart star. Keeps from having to open prostar, make the changes and write the problem file again.
