Meshing Errors in Starccm

I have imported an iges file into Starccm and set-up the meshing criteria to generate a polyhedral mesh with an extrusion layer. I am using the surface remesher with the surface wrapper and the surface mesh always works and looks pretty good. The surface repair tool finds no problems in any of the cells. Everytime I try to mesh the volume, I get an "Floating Point Exception" error. I don't think the mesh size is an issue because I only have about 1 million cells. I have tried it on different computers and different versions of Starccm, but they all fail to generate the mesh. I tried with much coarser meshes and it still will not mesh.
I am tempted to switch over to do my meshing on gambit because we have a license for fluent as well, but I don't know how well gambit meshes import into Starccm since it is a relatively new capability. |

You can import Fuent *.cas files directly into CCM+.
Just contact the support, if you think that there is a bug. |

I can confirm that gambit meshes will import into ccm, and I haven't had any problems with them so far.
