Default error#014:negative volume(during calculation)

Hi, I am doing engine intake and exhaust simulation with the example grids of es-ice,varying the valve lift curves.A former simulation has succeeded, however, when I employed a new set of valve lifts, error #014 appeared in the simulation(crank angle 617.4):

*** ERROR #014 *** NEGATIVE VOLUME CALCULATED FOR CELL NO.26618 (a cell right under the intake valve) IT IS PROBABLY LEFT-HANDED

No errors have ever been discovered during the "check negative volume" in es-ice,and no left-handed cells found in prostar.

Does anybody know why and how can I solve the problem? Thanks!

when you do the checking in es-ice, what is your crank angle? Is it 617.4CA ?

I think you have to identify the problematic cell during 617.4CA , then fix it by using es-ice manually. Thats what i'm doing normally.

Other forummers may have good idea on this.

Thanks first!

Yes,I checked the mesh at 617.4CA.Also I did the mesh checking from 615CA to 620CA.Neither case had a negative volume report.

When I tried "rcon 4 1" in star from 435CA(when intake valve opens) to 720CA, the error message appeared. But when it is running from 615 to 620 no problems were discovered! So I am really puzzled.
