Levels of mesh refinement in STAR-Design

Hi all,
I have recently aquired STAR-Design and I have also installed the evaluation version of STAR-CCM+. I have noticed in tutorials No.'s 15-20 that the imported mesh (from STAR-Design) contains multiple levels of refinement for flow around bluff bodies. I am having trouble doing this, and I'm finding it especially difficult in 3D. Has anyone any tips as to how to go about this type of mesh refinement for 3D bluff bodies in STAR-Design. Many thanks! |

why do you need the evaluation star-ccm+ if you have a stardesign license?

I used the example of the STAR-CCM+ tutorials to clarify my question. The reason I am trying it out bears no revelence.
BTW. I installed the evaluation star-ccm+ to see what its like. I don't think there is any harm in that. I'm a student after all! I would appreciate any help!! |

No need to get all snotty about it, I was meerly wondering why you don't use the full version of STAR-CCM+ and not the eval, it will give you a bit more flexibility.
