Vortex generation with starccm+

Hi
I try to simulate a vortex by using Starccm+. I generated the velocity profile of a vortex in cylindrical coordinates (r,Ur,Uq,Uz)by using excel. Thanks to a "RadialTabularDataSet" I generated the inlet velocity in cylindrical coordinates. Althought my coordinate system in starccm+ is cylindrical, starccm+ doesn`t allow me to specify the velocity profile in cylindrical coordinates(starccm+ asks for X,Y,Z directions). Has someome already generated a vortex on starccm+? Could this person explain me the method than he (or she) used to generate a vortex. Thanks Brice |
