I generated the mesh automatically with es-ice.But when I finished all the set up within Prostar according to the tutorial example and tried to write a geometry file, fowllowing errors appeared:
error#86:master and slave cell faces of couple donot overlap error#106:faces of couple are not close enough to to be valid These are the messages displayed when writing geometry file only. There are other errors if grid checking was done(it is said that there is no need for grid checking using es-ice). Has anyone ever met this problem? I am wondering how to fix them. The linux I use is fc5.Dose it have anything to do with the system? |

Do a couple check and take all the faulty couples in one set and then delete them. If you want to be on the save side, do a crack check afterwards. Alternatively, get V4. There is no need for couples in the new version.

Thanks! I chose "Remove non-overlapping slaves"in the couple check, and right now there seems to be no couple problems.
But a new error occurred when I wrote the geometry file this time. Eerror#270:Event data file is not connected. What does this mean? |

connect the event file by issuing command 'evfile conn'.It will connect the event file which you written already.
