the version of my star-cd is 3.24. ICEM/CFD is 10.0 I generate a 2d grid using icem/cfd, and get three files (*.cel,*inp, *.vrt). After starting pro-star, I try to import the grids from "create and import grids/import grids" in guide of star-cd. I choose "format" as "Pro-star" or "ICEM", and get the almost same meassage in output window as follows, vread,kuang.vrt,0, , ,coded READ VERTICES FROM FILE kuang.vrt USING OFFSET = 0 STORE VERTICES 1 THROUGH 999999999
2048 VERTICES READ IN FROM FILE kuang.vrt MAXIMUM VERTEX NUMBER IS NOW 2048 2048 IS MAXIMUM VERTEX NUMBER IN FILE MESH*> cread,kuang.cel,0, , , modify, coded, 0, READ CELLS FROM FILE kuang.cel OFFSETTING VERTICES BY 0 STORE CELLS 1 THROUGH 999999999 AND USE EXISTING CELL NUMBERS OFFSET FOR CELL NUMBERS = 0 OFFSET FOR CELL TYPE NUMBERS = 0 **WARNING - CELL 1 HAS A NONEXISTENT CELL TABLE NO. ( 7) IT WILL BE DEFINED 1901 CELLS READ IN FROM FILE kuang.cel MAXIMUM CELL NUMBER IS NOW 1901 The problem is that When I want to check/display the imported grids in pro-star, an erro tells me that there is no any available grids. What do I miss? Or How should I do? I would appreciate your help. Harry |
