I'm a new user. I want to use a moving mesh. I did it step by step in the tutorial. In one step, I don't understand and can't do it,that is creating case.cgrd. Please tell me how to do.

Some versions of star are simply unable to process the moving mesh. This bug is, for instance, present in 3.15B. In 3.2, some of the commands are not recognized and in 3.24, long scripts cannot pass.
It is thus hard to say, a priori, whether you made mistake or whether you experience one of these bugs. What I do in such cases: I copy the tutorial case from the installation directory into a working directory and I try to make the case provided by Adapco run (you have to import all the files and process a `tut.inp' before saving the case). If it runs, this is your mistake. I or others on this forum may be able to help you. If it does not run, explain your case to the technical support to get another version. You can do nothing by yourself. |
