hai friends iam doing project on hydrogen engine.this is port injection. how much quantity ie interms of mass or volume i have to inject. regards siva nageswararao

It depends upon the air flow rate & the desired air to fuel ratio.

Dear Pauli What you are mensioned is correct ,but my doubt is injection of the fuel interms of volume or mass basis.hydrogen is in the form of gasues stae. Thanks for giving immediate reply. regards siva

Hi Siva,
The way I think you should introduce hydrogen is; With the defined hydrogen inlet boundary you have area.(Locate Boundary) Specifying the inlet velocity you get Volume ( Area X Velocity) and specifying the density you get mass flow rate (Volume X Density) (Define boundary) Regards, Vishal |
