3.24 Problem with moving piston

Hello everybody,
I would like to know if anyone has run an engine simulation with moving piston case for 3.10 or 3.15 in the last version of star 3.24. Is their any trap? I have modified the event file accordingly (MVGRID ON PROSTAR and so on, following the changing commands in tutorial 13). But it is not sufficient. The deleting cell algorithm seems OK but change grid commands which move the bottom of the cylinder do not work. Thus, the piston does not move and a gap is created between the squish zone and the cylinder part not yet deactivated. As this was running well with 3.15, I wonder whether I need another key information to achieve buiding the case for 3.24. Has anyone doing engine simulations encountered the same problem? Thanks a lot for your help. Have a nice day! |
