Hi Star users,
I keep getting the command ngeom crashing out when generating the mesh files for use in Star-Design (pro-vis) for visualising the results. It appears to only happen when the mesh has been a trimmed type mesh, a tetrahedral mesh works fine all the time. Has anyone got any sugguestion to resolve ngeom crashing when using a trimmmed cell mesh, as i prefer to use a flow aligned trimmed mesh rather than tetra mesh for better accuracy etc -ted |

What version of prostar are you using. I usually have several different versions of star and prostar around and one of them will most likely do what I want
Maybe you should get v326 which is available now. One very good thing there is the 32bit linux version compiled with the intel compiler. It runs about 34 percent faster for one of my test cases (single processor)!!! |
