hi. I am now using es-aero advanced mesh wizard to generate volume meshes and want to learn how to fix Negative volume/Zero face area/Tetrahedral Quality failure/Problem cells. Thanks you.

first execute the cell check foe negative volume with the option of putting the failed cells in a cellset. then type the command : cflip cset from the command prompt.I think this will work.

Again u can also run check for right handed cells. fix them as left handed.

by changing the vertex postition also u can improve the quality of negative volume cells

The problem is I have already did so, but the negative volume cells still exists. and these negative volume cells may also have some other failures, like zero face area or bad tetrahedral quality.
and what about fixing problem cells in the run check panel of proam/es-aero? |

You might want to try not worrying about them and letting the ES-Aero geom write button, with highest repair level, take care your bad cells – it just deletes them.

- take care of too high warpage angel. When the cell is much too twisted, you problem arise from this, even when the cell orientation is OK.
- in generall delete all cells with double vertices, and generate a new one for this. - If cflip don't works, than the same as above, delete the cell and generate a new one. |
