Can anyone throw the light on what is turbulent intesity and turbulence scale which are genrally specified as input? I understand by turbulent intensity (%) is maximum fluctuation permitted in the mean values of the parameters. Does these parameters includes only velocities or pressure as well ? Secondly how to specify turbulence scale keeping in view the actual physical significance.
Thanks and Regards |

Refer to the STAR-CD user guide, ucan find out turbulent intensity and scale.
there is no such rule to define those parameters.........it comes from experience only....or for some guidence refer to the book by "Crays & Crawford" |
