Ploting on free suraface shell

Hi,
I'm simulating free surface flow. After converged I tried to plot free surface elevation in order to see wave pattern. I create shell which represent free surface (vof=0.5) but don't know how to plot (or map) surface elevation (z-coordinate) or any other scalar variable (eg. velocity) on that shell. Thanks in advance, pp |

You can use the PMAP command in pro-STAR to map any scalar quantity to a shell that is within the original fluid domain used for the solution. Look at the help for PMAP (help pmap) for more details or check out the article on post shells on adapco online (http://www.adapco-online.com/adapco_...frontpage.html).
You can also use the OPERATE command to extract the Z elevation height of the shells in the free surface and place these in a post register for plotting. |
